Workshops & Conferences
Conference workshops are available, ranging from 1 hour to 8 hours in duration, and are either tailor-made to the organisation’s specific requirements or a summarised version of one of our many courses. Workshops are highly participative with a balance between classroom training, individual and group work.

Conference Workshops

University of Life
Sharing with managers the finer points of leadership
This workshop complements the traditional business school-education with street smarts and provides a collection of homespun philosophies, interspersed with personal life experiences. - "the ability to make active, positive use of your instincts, insights, and perceptions."
The main purpose of this workshop is to fill in many of the gaps - the gaps between a business school education and the street knowledge that comes from day-to-day experience of running a business and managing people.

The Greatest Management Principle in the World
The single greatest management principle is this:

“The things that get rewarded, get done.”

Is your company ignoring this principle? Are you rewarding the wrong behaviour?
In typical organisations, leaders reward busy-work, long hours, massive reports, paper shuffling, risk avoidance and “good” excuses.

Chariots of Fire

Do the words “committee” and “fun” sound wrong to you when used in the same sentence? Many people believe that committees are inherently boring and come to expect that from them. They walk in, sit in their regular seat and prepare themselves for an hour of “same old, same old.” Others experience fun meetings but spend so much time joking around that they rarely accomplish anything. Although it may not seem possible, you can create meetings that are fun, effective and build group cohesion all at the same time!

All it requires is a bit of blue sky thinking and a willingness to crack a smile now and then. Brainstorm with Brian on ways to improve your input as a committee member and achieve all that you can be. Learn how Attila the Hun and William Wallace managed by committee and once again cry “freedom” to the creativity that dwells inside all true heroes.
